Overview

Base pay range: $18.00/hr - $21.00/hr. Acute Care Technology division of ZOLL Medical Corporation develops and delivers lifesaving products and software solutions to EMS, hospital, public safety, and military customers globally.

Responsibilities

• Assemble medical device components and electronic systems per work orders, drawings, or verbal instructions.
• Position and align parts in jigs or fixtures; join parts using crimping, staking, screwing, bolting, riveting, welding, soldering, cementing, press fitting, or similar methods.
• Mount assemblies on chassis/panels; connect wires and routes between components and connectors.
• Install finished assemblies in cases/cabinets; attach hardware such as caps, clamps, knobs, and switches.
• Perform intermediate assembly tasks (potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, curing, stamping, etching, impregnating, color-coding).
• Tend to machines that press, shape, or wind components; adjust materials to meet electrical or dimensional specs.
• Conduct online go/no-go testing and inspection to ensure parts meet production standards.
• Able to work in a Clean Environment Room (CER) as designed.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent from two-year college/technical school required; one year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience; minimum of three years in Medical Device Manufacturing preferred.
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: problem solving, oral and written communication, organizational skills, adaptability, dependability, initiative, judgment, motivation, planning/organizing, quality and productivity focus, safety awareness, basic reading/writing/computational skills, and basic computer skills.

Physical Demands

• Standing, walking, sitting; lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling; talking and hearing; repetitive motions; coordination requirements.

Working Conditions

• Environmental conditions may include extreme temperatures, humidity, noise, and varied atmospheric conditions.
