Summary of Position
The Manufacturing Technician performs tasks related to operating equipment for formulation, preparation, and dispensing of aseptic radiopharmaceutical processes according to cGMP guidelines, to meet production demands. The role involves working with automated equipment, creating new products, and leading as a technician while coordinating work per SOPs.
Schedule: Saturday-Tuesday, 4 ten-hour shifts from 5:30 PM to 4:00 AM. Overtime may be required.
Essential Functions
- Provide leadership on the floor.
- Follow quality, safety, and regulatory procedures.
- Contribute to continuous improvement.
- Maintain cleanliness of the department, premises, and equipment.
- Document in accordance with cGMP guidelines.
- Review Batch Records properly.
- Work collaboratively to foster a team environment.
- Follow all procedures and instructions.
- Communicate effectively.
- Own and be accountable for processes.
- Coordinate with team to resolve challenges.
- Work with leadership to improve operations.
- Attend additional training as required.
- Meet or exceed customer expectations.

- Be flexible to departmental and business needs.
- Ensure compliance with US and international regulations (FDA, EU, HC, TGA, PIC/S, ISO, USP, NRC, cGMP, etc.).
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in pharmaceutical or manufacturing industries.
- Experience in an FDA-regulated cGMP environment is preferred.
- Strong mechanical skills; scientific background preferred.
- Ability to troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and processes, escalate concerns appropriately.
Working Conditions
- Willingness to work in a facility producing radioactive materials, with safety protocols to minimize exposure.
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds, kneel, crouch, twist, walk, bend, and use safety equipment.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors, with exposure to hazards.
- Willing to wear PPE and hearing protection as needed.
- Ability to sit or stand for long hours.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Work outside of regular hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
