Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 6:00am - 2:30pm

Overview

Workings as Full-time Manufacturing Maintenance team member, you will be directly responsible for keeping Fastenal's equipment and facility in good running order. Manufacturing Maintenance team members are assigned regular preventative maintenance procedures, as well as troubleshooting, identifying machinery faults, and executing repair orders to maintain safe and efficient operation of our facilities.

Responsibilities

• Performing preventive maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical systems
• Performing forklift maintenance, manual machine repair, and preventative maintenance
• Moving and positioning equipment
• Welding and fabricating for repairs or building support equipment
• Assisting in Hydraulic and Pneumatic Operations
• Performing general building maintenance and repair

Required Position Qualifications

• Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located, with ability to meet driving record requirements to use a company vehicle as needed
• Possess or working towards an education in an Industrial Maintenance Technical program OR have at least 2 years of related work experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
• Proficient computer skills
• Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Work independently as well as in a team environment
• Willingness to work at heights exceeding 25 feet

• Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 100lbs
• Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

Preferred Position Qualifications

• Possess or working towards related education
• Prior experience in hydraulics, welding, and metal fabrication
• Prior electrical experience in 3-Phase and single phase

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is $41,000 - 58,000. In addition to base pay, this position is also eligible for a bonus and/or commission.
