Description

The stamping engineering team is looking for an Engineering partner to support them with quality data collection for the stamping lines. The engineer will engage and work closely with all production and maintenance teams on the floor. Engineers will be responsible for the following:

1. Observe & capture defects on TWB parts coming off the automated TWB manufacturing lines.
2. Record defect attributes in Excel sheet templates for analysis.
3. Collect data for analysis from automated inspection machines on the line (with training). Monitor quality through EHR system checks. Alter and improve quality by studying weld parameters and developing standards for operators to help improve quality while running laser weld lines. Work with production to research blank quality and address weld issues.
4. Perform other related data collection and analysis activities.
5. Attend project meetings and reviews.

Skills & Qualifications

• Engineering degree required - Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Excel/Access and data analysis.
• Willingness to work day and night shifts.

Additional Information

The pay range is $34.00 - $36.00/hr. Eligible benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, disability, HSA, transportation benefits, and PTO. This is a fully onsite position in San Antonio, TX. The application deadline is May 29, 2025.
