Tempur Sealy is seeking an experienced, team-oriented individual for our Denver team as a Manufacturing Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the plant’s Quality Program to ensure products meet internal quality standards, including assembly processes, inspections, and raw materials.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality and continuous improvement systems, transforming traditional quality practices into a proactive, integrated approach.
• Ensure standard operating procedures are maintained and conformed to during assembly operations.
• Manage the implementation of new processes, procedures, and equipment related to new products.
• Coordinate with other plants to develop and standardize procedures for assembly and quality processes.
• Develop and improve procedures using lean tools, documenting them as organizational standards.
• Verify equipment capability to meet quality standards and ensure consistent results.
• Train personnel on standard procedures, inspection techniques, and process audits.
• Validate defect tracking for work-in-process, finished goods, and rejected items.
• Conduct periodic audits of products, records, and adherence to bills of material.
• Recommend corrective actions to management.
• Perform statistical analysis to identify root causes of defects and facilitate problem-solving techniques.
