Description

We are currently hiring for a Custodian! Based on our career development plan, there are three different position levels available based on experience. Below is a brief summary of each level and the requirements:

Custodian I
  • Starting Salary - $36,108.80
  • Requirements - any combination of education and experience equivalent to the completion of the ninth grade with some building cleaning experience and valid driver's license
Custodian II
  • Starting Salary - $37,876.80
  • Requirements - All requirements stated for Custodian I with three years related experience in a custodial/office related cleaning field
Custodian III
  • Starting Salary - $39,790.40
  • Requirements - All requirements stated for Custodian I and Custodian II with five years related experience in a custodial/office related cleaning field
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Dusts and or polishes desks, chairs, tables, shelves and other furniture or equipment;
  • Washes windows, walls, woodwork and Venetian blinds;
  • Vacuums, sweeps and mops floors;
  • Gathers and disposes of refuse;
  • Cleans and supplies restrooms;
  • Other duties as assigned
