Custodian (Part-Time, Temp-to-Hire)

Location: Red Cloud, NE

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

We are seeking a dependable custodian to join our client's team in Red Cloud, NE! This is a part-time, temp-to-hire opportunity with flexible scheduling options. As a custodian, you will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming school environment for students, staff and visitors.

Schedule - Part-time shifts available:

• Monday, Wednesday, Friday OR Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday OR Friday only
• 4-hour shifts:
• 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• 10:00 PM - 2:00 AM
• Flexible hours available

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning duties including:
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and dusting classrooms, hallways and restrooms
• Emptying trash and replenishing supplies
• Cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, classrooms and common areas
• Perform minor repairs such as changing outlets or toilets
• Maintain and manage cleaning equipment and supplies
• Ensure a safe and sanitary environment for students and staff
• Other custodial duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Must be able to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending and standing for extended periods
