Overview
The Custodian is responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of all areas assigned. We are searching for a hardworking, dependable individual to join the team as our company continues to grow. We have an immediate opening for a custodian that wants to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction. We are looking for custodial team members with strong customer service skills who can work effectively with other team members.

Responsibilities
- Perform janitorial duties
- Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule
- Operate motorized cleaning equipment
- Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area
- Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor
- Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
- Promote a safe work environment by addressing risk behavior
- Perform work assignments in a team with other employees
- Perform repetitive tasks
- Maintain clean work area
- Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules
- Take direction and respond to supervision
- Communicate professionally with lead, supervisor, coworkers, managers, and customers
- Fill in during staff shortage
- Support shift lead in completing punch-list items
- Use proper personal protective equipment
- Present a professional appearance and conduct
- Understand customer service and satisfaction
- Understand reporting systems and the environment
Qualifications
- May be required to have a valid driver’s license
- Completed all safety and task training/certification
- May be forklift certified
- Bilingual a plus
- Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willingness to share with the team
- Knowledge of upkeep and care of cleaning equipment
- Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use
- No specific education requirement; 3-6 months training or experience preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Compensation: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
Shifts: Monday - Friday: 4:00pm-12:30am
