Custodian Job at Hilti (Canada) Corporation in Tulsa

What\'s the role?

The Custodian is responsible for supplementing the night cleaning crew by taking care of custodial issues that arise at the Tulsa Operations Center during hours of operation.

What does the role involve?

• Attend the following by:
• Breakrooms: sanitizing counters, tables, and other surface areas. Replenish paper towels and soap dispensers. Empty trash. Run dishwashers as necessary. Clean up dirty dishes.
• Rest rooms: sanitizing counters, tidying after lunch, refill paper towels, toothbrushes, floss, mouthwash and feminine hygiene products as necessary. Empty trash and mop floors as needed.
• Main hallways, break areas and conference rooms: emptying trash, clearing boxes, wiping down tables and surface areas as well as returning dirty dishes to the appropriate areas (The Gathering Place or the Café).
• Carpet: spot clean as needed or necessary.
• Windows: wipe down and clean as necessary.
• Fish: feeding them on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
• Powerhouse: clean on Fridays.
• Assist with light facility maintenance tasks, including touch-up painting, small repairs, and minor improvement projects.
• Meeting rooms: set up and take down of chair and table arrangements in meeting rooms when requested.

• Order monthly supplies and stock closets and storage areas as they arrive
• Coordination with janitorial provider—Communicate issues as necessary to night crew
• Additional duties, as assigned

Physical Requirements:

• Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive reaching, bending, and climbing.
• Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours daily

Safety Equipment Required:

• Must observe and abide by all safety regulations as required by Hilti and Occupational Health and Safety Standards (OSHA)
• Must wear safety equipment, as required
