SEW-Eurodrive, Inc. is hiring: Custodian in Troy

Provide service and support needed to external cleaning crew and ensure the cleanliness of the assembly plant.

Pay Range: $17.00

Shift: 2nd Shift

• Ability to organize workload for timely accomplishment of work
• Knowledge of standard cleaning methods and procedures
• Experience with properly using cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and cleaning solutions
• Must be able to occasionally sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, push and pull, bend, twist, stoop, and kneel
• Must be able to ensure external cleaning crew are performing their required tasks

Top 5 tasks for this position:

• Perform heavy cleaning duties (deep cleaning)
• Scrub, sanitize, and supply restroom facilities
• Mix cleaning solutions and chemicals in containers according to instructions
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power machinery to prevent damage
• Drive vehicles required for cleaning work (e.g., floor scrubber)
