Overview
Join Our Team at Avera McKennan Hospital. Be part of a multidisciplinary team built with compassion and the goal of Moving Health Forward for you and our patients. Work where you matter. This position is a regular role with an afternoon shift, Monday to Friday, from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with every other weekend and holiday coverage as needed. The pay range for this position is $17.25 - $21.25, depending on experience.
What You Will Do
- Maintains a clean / neat environment in working areas including patient rooms, offices, nurses\' stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, stairwells, and lobby areas.
- Participates in all cleaning activities as assigned, including cleaning walls, ceilings, vents, lights, baseboards, windows / glass, and replacing light bulbs.
- Maintains clean / neat floor surfaces as assigned, including dusting, buffing, scrubbing, strip / sealing, waxing, extracting, and vacuuming.
- Disposes of all trash in an appropriate manner, including the pickup, boxing, shredding, and maintaining general cleanliness of trash receptacles.
- Participates in the relocation of office and other general hospital furniture / equipment as necessary.

- High School or GED Equivalent or one to three months related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
