Custodian/CSR to help them shine! SBM Management is looking for hardworking, dependable individuals to join the team as the company continues to grow. This opening is for a custodian who wants to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction. The CSR works well with co-workers and customers, understands and follows explicit instructions (oral and written), and can communicate job-related data using basic communication skills. Requires good judgment in thought and/or decision-making and may involve explaining work methods and instructions. May aid in training others or demonstrate work processes.

Responsibilities
- Floor care (vacuuming, mopping, carpet spotting)
- Surface care (dusting, sanitizing, glass/mirror/window cleaning, metal/wood polishing, clean blinds and draperies)
- Waste removal (empty trash and recycle bins, transport trash and waste to proper disposal areas)
- Light maintenance (replace light bulbs, restock supply cabinet/room)
- Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures. Stop at risky behavior of others and self.
- Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules.
- Take direction and respond to supervision.
- Use proper personal protective equipment.
- Present a professional appearance and conduct.
- Understand reporting systems, and the environment.
- Transport small equipment, tools, chairs, and tables; straighten areas such as lobbies and conference rooms; pick up trash, recycling, and compost bins and transport to proper disposal areas; light vacuuming; dusting; restocking supplies.
- Between events, clean drop-in desktops, assist janitorial staff with restocking restrooms and break rooms, damp mop floors, restroom cleaning, glass cleaning, restock and organize supplies in janitorial closets and storage areas, clean elevators, spot clean upholstered furniture and carpets, and dust open common spaces.
Qualifications
- Must have reliable transportation
- Less than high school education or up to one month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read 2-3 syllable words, recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
- Ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
- Know how to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s
- Know the American measures of money, weight, size, length, shapes, distance and measures such as cups, pints, quarts, gallons, etc.
- Required to have a valid driver’s license if driving own vehicle or company vehicle on business time; proof of vehicle registration and insurance may be required
- Bilingual is a plus, not required
Compensation: $20.76-$20.76 per hour.
Shifts: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
