SBM Management is looking for a new Custodian/CSR to help them shine. We are seeking hardworking, dependable individuals to join the team as we continue to grow. We have an immediate opening for a custodian who wants to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction and work well with other team members.
The CSR works well with co-workers and customers. They understand and follow explicit instructions, both oral and written, and communicate job-related data using basic skills. They use good judgment in thought and decision-making and may explain work methods and instructions. They aid in training others or demonstrate work processes.

Responsibilities
- Floor care (vacuuming, mopping, carpet spotting)
- Surface care (dusting, sanitizing, glass/mirror/window cleaning, metal/wood polishing, clean blinds and draperies)
- Waste removal (empty trash and recycle bins, transport trash and waste to proper disposal areas)
- Light maintenance (replace light bulbs, restock supply cabinet/room)
- Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures; intervene when others or self engage in at-risk behavior
- Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules
- Take direction and respond to supervision
- Use proper personal protective equipment
- Present a professional appearance and conduct
- Understand reporting systems and the environment
- Transport small equipment, tools, chairs, and tables; straighten areas such as lobbies and conference rooms; pick up trash and recycling; transport to proper disposal areas; light vacuuming; dusting; restocking supplies
- Between events, assist with cleaning drop-in desktops; restock restrooms and break rooms; damp mop floors; restroom cleaning; glass cleaning; restock and organize supplies in janitorial closets and storage areas; clean elevators; spot clean upholstered furniture and carpets; dust open common spaces
Qualifications
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must have reliable transportation
- Less than high school education or up to one month of related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read 2-3 syllable words, recognize similarities and differences between words and numbers
- Ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
- Ability to add, subtract, and perform basic multiplication and division
- Knowledge of American measurements for money, weight, size, length, and common units (cups, pints, quarts, gallons, etc.)
- Required to have a valid driver’s license if driving own vehicle or company vehicle on business time; proof of vehicle registration and insurance may be required
- Bilingual is a plus, not required
Compensation
Compensation: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
Shifts
Shifts: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
