$23.00/hr - $26.00/hr

Summary

We’re looking to hire a professional with experience in sanitation who can maintain the cleanliness and safety of our buildings. Responsibilities include all cleaning and sanitation duties between buildings, with some warehouse cleanup. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, experience with cleaning equipment and supplies, organization skills, and takes pride in their work.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Cleaning various flooring types (wood, linoleum, tile)
• Cleaning lunchrooms and restocking supplies
• Cleaning refrigerators and microwaves
• Wiping down kitchen equipment and countertops
• Shampooing rugs and carpets
• Emptying warehouse trash cans
• Dusting and cleaning vents and surfaces
• Waxing and buffing floors
• Ordering cleaning supplies as needed
• Washing inside windows
• Sweeping warehouse floors
• Breaking down cardboard boxes for baling
• Maintaining and organizing inventory
• Using cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, carpet cleaners
• Handling office trash and recycling
• Reporting hazards
• Maintaining cleaning equipment and products

Required Skills/Abilities

• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Leadership and delegation skills
• Knowledge of cleaning products and tools
• Experience with machinery like floor scrubbers, carpet extractors
• Experience with different tabletop/counter materials
• Time management and multitasking skills
• Organization skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to operate pallet jacks and similar equipment
• Basic math skills
• Extensive floor care experience, including stripping and waxing floors
• Inventory tracking skills

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift over 25 pounds
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods
• Physical stamina
