Overview

Are you a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment? TETER is seeking a proactive and organized Staff Accountant to support our Finance and Accounting Team in delivering accurate, timely, and insightful financial information that drives operational success. This position is based in our Fresno office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger and balance sheet accounts, including cash, AR, AP, and credit cards
• Complete month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and variance analysis
• Manage accounts receivable and payable, including client collections and vendor payments
• Prepare financial statements, support audits, and ensure compliance with tax and regulatory filings
• Supervise the Accounting Assistant and oversee AP entry and supply orders
• Leverage ERP systems to improve financial insight and reporting

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of professional accounting experience (professional services experience preferred)
• Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting procedures
• High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling)
• Familiarity with QuickBooks, Deltek, or ERP systems is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $75,000-90,000 per year (Actual pay depends on qualifications, experience, location, and business needs)
