Job Description

FORKLIFT OPERATOR
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Forklift Operator for a company based in Charleston, SC off Clements Ferry Road. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for handling cartons through pallet picks, case picks, pallet building, and placing cases onto the conveyor system to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.

Pay Rate
$18.25 per hour to $19.25

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday

1st shift: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm

2nd shift: 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm

3rd shift: 10:30 pm to 6:30 am

Forklift Operator Duties and Responsibilities

1. Perform pallet picks to retrieve products from designated locations within the warehouse.
2. Conduct case picks to gather individual items for customer orders.
3. Build pallets according to specified guidelines, ensuring stability and organization.
4. Place cases onto the conveyor system for further processing and shipment.
5. Maintain accurate inventory records by documenting all movement of products.

Forklift Operator Qualifications and Requirements

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
3. Ability to operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling products.
