Forklift Operator Job at Sofidel Group in Las Vegas

Sofidel America is seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team at our Las Vegas, NV facility. The Forklift Operator will be responsible for providing essential support to our warehouse and production areas, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the facility.

12-hour shifts,rotating between 1 week of morning shifts 7:00AM - 7:00PM, followed by 1 week of night shifts 7:00PM - 7:00AM.

Work schedule: 4 days on, followed by 2 days off.

Key Responsibilities:

Adhere to Sofidel America’s Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) standards to maintain a safe, sanitary, and compliant work environment.

Maintain certification for operating a variety of forklifts, including Single Forks, Double-Wide, Box-Clamp, Roll-Clamp, and Bale Clamp models.

Conduct regular forklift inspections according to required protocols and maintain accurate inspection logs and documentation.

Charge forklift batteries and replace propane cylinders as needed.

Operate the stretch wrap machine and accurately execute the HU label process.

Efficiently monitor and manage the movement of raw materials, finished goods, and waste products across all production lines.

Safely deliver and remove raw materials, finished goods, and waste products to and from designated areas in a timely manner.

Secure parent roll cores with banding and ensure proper placement in recycling or customer return trailers.

Maintain regular attendance, demonstrate punctuality, and exhibit flexibility in scheduling to support production needs.

Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors to ensure operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a forklift operator or material handler role.

Strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and a team-oriented attitude.
