Conagra Brands is hiring: Forklift Operator in Hamburg

Shift: 6:00 AM-4:00 PM

Hourly Rate: $20.53 an hour

Job Overview:

As a forklift operator for our bulk operations, you will report directly to the shipping/receiving manager. Your responsibilities include driving the forklift to move materials, load/unload trucks, recharge batteries, and operate other material movers. Conagra Brands offers great benefits, including:

Job Duties:

• Operate power forklift equipment safely while unloading incoming materials from trailers in the warehouse, moving materials to the production area, removing finished goods stacked on pallets to the shipping dock, and loading trailers.
• Prepare paperwork required to record incoming materials and shipped finished goods.
• Assist with production lines in the bulk area.
• Maintain food safety and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED and at least one year of forklift operating experience in a production or distribution center.
• Ability to read and write in English to understand Bills of Lading and complete shipping documentation.
• Previous experience operating forklifts and power equipment.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 55 pounds.
