This position is in Cargill’s protein and salt business, where we provide wholesome, high-quality food products to a wide range of customers, from foodservice operators and grocery stores to manufacturers and exporters.
Role: Forklift Operator — an important role in daily operations with responsibilities including product selection, staging/scanning, and loading product into trailers. You will ensure accurate order fulfilment and quality product delivered according to customer orders and requirements.

Compensation: Between $20/hr - $21/hr plus shift differential
Shift Available: 2nd shift Sunday to Thursday 4pm to 1am

Accountabilities (Responsibilities):
- Performing repetitive and standardized warehouse operations
- Pulling orders generated from the computer for morning deliveries
- Operate forklift (stand up reach truck) to put away, rotate, and pull pallets from racks
- Operate pallet jack to load/unload trailers
- Stack, scan, and wrap cases with stretch film
- General warehouse maintenance (e.g., clean, empty trashcans)
- Wear proper Personal Protective Equipment: Hardhat, steel-toe boots, freezer suit
Requirements:
- Right to work in the U.S. not based solely on student visa or sponsored by a third-party employer
- Minimum 18 years old to work in a production facility
- Ability to work overtime, nights, weekends and holidays with advance notice
- Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
- Ability to perform physical duties including bending, lifting up to 80 lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, twisting with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work in varied indoor/outdoor conditions with PPE (may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise)
- Able to operate machinery and/or industrial equipment (Forklift)
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills
- Forklift certified; experience in a production or plant environment
- Experience with stand-up reach trucks
