YOUR ROLE

Are you known for your equipment operation skills and passionate about warehouse logistics and organization? Do you enjoy working in a clean and efficient warehouse environment? This role involves executing essential operational processes and contributing to safe, efficient warehouse operations.

What are you going to do?

• Develop and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers, collaborating, communicating timely instructions, and assisting with operations as necessary.
• Perform manual labor such as picking inventory, counting cargo, staging and loading goods; operate hand trucks or pallet jacks; use hand tools to open/close containers or build crates; packaging may be standard or non-standard.
• Coordinate receipt, storage, and distribution of materials within the assigned area; prepare and assemble orders and move materials between receiving, production, storage, and other areas.
• Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, pallets or bins according to size, type, style, color, product code and related characteristics; may be more complex or multi-cell operations and fully trained.
• Potential opportunity to serve as a lead operator in smaller teams or standard operations; assist with training and providing basic work instructions to new hires or transfers.
• Operate forklift when required and fully trained; may not perform the most complex, heavy, or oversized transports.
• Complete or verify forms, documents, labels and other information to ensure inventory accuracy and successful receiving/delivery of goods.
• Identify potential operational or service concerns, notify appropriate coworkers, and assist with resolving; monitor warehouse maintenance tasks such as cleaning, proper storage of equipment, and basic preventative maintenance.

What are we looking for?

• Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED; typically at least two years of warehousing or related logistics experience, or successful completion of a rotation program.
• Credentials: Forklift certification typically required within 3–6 months of hire; valid state driver’s license preferred.
• Skills: Ability to operate hand and power tools (e.g., hand truck, pallet jack); basic proficiency in internet, web-based and job-specific software; ability to become forklift certified when required.
• Characteristics: Responds promptly and professionally to customer needs; works well in a team; able to read, comprehend and complete basic checklists and forms.
