AHI, a member of The Baillie Group is looking to add a Forklift Operator to the team in Waynesboro, VA. This is a great opportunity for an individual to join a world class lumber organization as a first shift forklift operator. The positions primary responsibilities include operating a forklift in a large open warehouse to locate/organize/move material as needed.
Forklift Operator Pay & Benefits:

- Operating forklift in a warehouse setting
- When not driving a forklift, employee may be asked to complete other work as needed
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Identify the sort numbers for the carts you are responsible for. Pull boards into the correct carts according to the sort numbers on the boards.
- Previous experience as a warehouse worker preferred
- High School degree preferred, but not required.
- Assist in all areas of production
- Adherence to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to work independently
- Capable of working efficiently/safe as well as keeping a high level of precision
- Previous experience as an equipment operator using a forklift of 10,000 lbs. and heavier required
- Prefer someone who has at least 1 year of experience within the last 2 years
- Must be self motivated and organized
- Willingness to work in outside environment
- Willingness to work overtime
- Locating/pulling/organizing loads of material needed for orders
- Ability to work independently
