Overview

We are seeking a skilled Welding Specialist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating various welding techniques and fabricating sheet metal components. This role requires attention to detail, precision, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. As a Welding Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our production processes.

Duties

• Operate welding torches and other cutting equipment to fabricate metal components according to specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Utilize hand tools and machinery for various fabrication tasks.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine cutting specifications.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Assist in programming machinery for automated cutting processes when necessary.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Welding Specialist or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in operating various types of welding torches and fabrication equipment.
• Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication techniques and processes.
• Experience with hand tools, press brake machines, lathes, plasma cutting, or laser cutting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Commitment to safety practices in the workplace.
