$40-$50/hour | Full-Time | On-Site

We're looking for a Field Welding Foreman to lead our steel fabrication and installation teams in the field. If you're a skilled welder with a strong background in leadership, this is your opportunity to take ownership of complex builds while ensuring top-tier quality and safety.

This is a hands-on leadership role that requires field experience, welding expertise, and the ability to manage crews and job site operations from start to finish.

What You'll Do

• Lead and supervise on-site welding and installation crews
• Assign daily tasks, monitor progress, and coach team members to ensure efficient, high-quality work
• Perform field welding using SMAW (Stick), FCAW (Flux-Core), and MIG on structural and miscellaneous steel
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings; solve challenges in real-time
• Communicate directly with project managers, engineers, and clients to align site execution with project goals
• Enforce OSHA and company safety protocols to maintain a zero-incident environment
• Conduct quality checks to ensure welds and installations meet AWS standards
• Manage materials, tools, and equipment on-site-including inventory, maintenance, and procurement
• Mentor junior welders and installers to build team capabilities
• Report job progress and issues to upper management
  
  

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years in a foreman or leadership role in steel fabrication/installation
• Must be able to pass AWS stick welding test on 1" plate (SMAW)
• Familiarity with DOT health card requirements
• Experience operating forklifts and skid steers
• Comfortable towing trailers and handling job site logistics
• Strong communication and project coordination skills
• Proven track record of safe, on-time, and high-quality project delivery
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS D1.1 Certification (Preferred but not required)
• Strong organizational and reporting skills

• Full-Time | $40-$50/hour, depending on experience
• On-site, field-based work (no remote options)
• Local candidates only - must live within 45 minutes of Harris, MN
