Responsibilities
We are currently seeking qualified applicants to fill a robotic welding operator position at our facility in Barberton, Ohio. The successful candidate will operate submerged arc welding, cladding machines and automatic and robotic (MotoMan and Gantry robots) metal inert gas equipment to produce quality welds. Identify and perform basic layout to determine clad limits. Responsible for using proper wire and flux for the job. Inspect welds, grind and arc air to remove defects. Attach preheat torches inside and outside and maintain proper preheat temperatures.
Qualifications / Requirements
- All applicants must successfully complete a pre-employment weld screen.
- Must have the ability to read and understand blueprints
- A minimum of two (2) years' welding experience or a combination of welding experience and formal training/education is preferred.
- High school diploma or GED is required and graduation will be verified
- Must be a citizen of the United States
- Must be open and available to working all shifts
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check
Compensation & Relocation
The hourly rate for this position pays up to $38.42 and is complemented by a very generous benefit package. Upon an offer, a relocation package is available for eligible candidates.
