Five business units comprise the $40 million enterprise offering coatings, steel, concrete fabrication, and building envelope inspection, evaluation, and testing services across various markets and industries.

KTA is recruiting full-time and part-time Certified Welding Inspectors (CWI) in the Minnesota/Wisconsin region. All applicants must be willing to travel and work multiple shifts.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent - required
• Current AWS CWI - required
• Bridge fabrication inspection experience - preferred
• NDT Experience is desirable
• AMPP (NACE) certification is desirable

Knowledge/Abilities/Skills:

• Good oral and written communication skills
• Reliable transportation
• Valid driver’s license
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet navigation

Physical Requirements:

• Good vision (close, color, distance, depth) and ability to focus
• Ability to travel extensively and work outdoors, including in inclement weather
• Climbing, bending, crawling, working in confined spaces and on uneven terrain
• Ability to lift 25+ lbs

Drug testing, criminal background, and motor vehicle checks will be conducted.

Salary Range: $30-42/hour with a comprehensive benefits package. The hourly rate depends on experience and certifications.
