Overview

This is for an adjunct pool to staff part-time, hourly positions as a Welding Instructor. Applications are accepted for a continuous pool; qualified applicants may be contacted when a need arises. Starting salary is $66.00/hour and may vary based on assignment and the Lecture Hour Equivalent (LHE) formula.

Representative Duties

This is for an adjunct pool that will be used to staff part-time adjunct positions.

Minimum Qualifications

• Any Bachelor’s degree or higher AND two years of professional experience
• OR Any Associate degree AND six years of professional experience
• OR the equivalent

(The professional experience required must be directly related to the faculty member’s teaching assignment. Professional experience is required when the applicant possesses a master’s degree.)

Note: Degrees and credits must be from accredited institutions. Applicants with foreign degrees must have coursework evaluated by a recognized evaluation service. Screening may limit interviews. Meeting minimum qualifications does not guarantee an interview.

• Commitment to the California community college mission
