Overview

Part-Time Faculty - Welding Technology (North) role at San Jacinto College. Applications for part-time faculty positions are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed if openings become available. These positions are not current vacancies. Part-time faculty are hired on an "as needed" basis and will work for the duration of the course. A portion of teaching may be evening classes and possibly weekend classes. Faculty are assigned to teach courses using various delivery methods based on the teaching area and the needs of students and the College, which may require a physical presence at the assigned on-site work location.

Responsibilities

• Teach Welding Technology related course work.

Required Qualifications

• Three (3) years' work experience in Welding Technology, exclusive of teaching experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher.
• Certifications from NCCER or AWS a plus.

Salary

Salary Grade: AH. Salary is based on the Board-approved salary schedule for the current fiscal year. See Salary Schedule.
