NON-SURGICAL SPORTS MEDICINE- MD


Responsibilities


  • Assess, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic pain and other sports medicine concerns using medical and interventional modalities.
  • Evaluate patient health through interviews, physical examinations, X-ray, and MRI imaging.
  • Perform joint injections.
  • Supervise medical staff.
  • Communicate diagnosis and treatment protocols to patients, setting clear goals and expectations.

Requirements

  • Experience in joint and soft tissue injections.
  • Experience in sports medicine, orthopedic surgery, physical medicine & rehabilitation, ER/Urgent care, or anesthesiology.
  • Ability to interpret X-ray and MRI images.
  • Ability to prescribe medications and perform non-surgical treatments.
  • Thorough knowledge of disease and injury diagnostics.
  • Understanding of sports culture and practices.
  • Passion for regenerative medicine.

Our practice provides comprehensive sports medicine services to patients of all ages, including advanced treatments like ultrasound-guided injections, PRP, and shockwave therapy. Our location shares space with orthopedic and rehabilitative departments, with access to labs and imaging facilities.

Qualifications

  • Ability to obtain an unrestricted NH Medical License
  • Current DEA license
  • BLS Certification
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedics, Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Pain Management/Physiatry. If eligible, actively pursuing certification.
  • Completion of a Sports Medicine fellowship.
  • Proven competence in sports medicine services.
