Occupational Summary

Typical duties include teaching technical skills, coaching the sport during practices and competitions, and preparing club members to participate in the sport.

Ensure all club participants comply with Sport Club risk management requirements and understand and implement risk mitigation strategies.

Attend annual training to learn about Duke University and Sport Club policies and ensure compliance with procedures.

Counsel and advise Sport Club officers on club operations and provide leadership and personal growth opportunities for participants.

Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for participants of all skill levels, backgrounds, and identities.

Possess or obtain a valid American Red Cross CPR/AED/First Aid certification within 30 days of employment.
