Location: Saratoga, William R. Oliver Youth Complex (WRO), and Mindiola
Department: Waukesha Parks, Recreation & Forestry
Reports To: Sports Coordinator
Wage: Starting at $17.00
Work Schedule
Saratoga (May - August): (Half-hour before game time; hour after games conclude). End times may vary.
- Monday - Thursday: 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm
- Friday: 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm
- Saturday: Rental Hours
- Sunday: Rainout Games
WRO (May - July): (1 hour before game time; hour after games conclude). End times may vary.
- Monday - Thursday: 4:45 pm to 9:00 pm
- Friday: 4:15 pm to 8:30 pm
- Saturday: 8:15 am to 5:15 pm
- Sunday: Rental Hours
Mindiola (March - October): Monday - Thursday: 5:15 pm - 8:00 pm; Saturday: 8:30 am - 4:00 pm; Sunday: 9:45 am - 7:15 pm. Additional hours may be available.

Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate pre-season activities, including game scheduling and scorekeeper scheduling.
- Manage inventory of supplies needed at the complex.
- Supervise complex during league games, including opening and closing, evaluating staff and games, promoting safety, and enforcing rules.
- Handle formal protests in coordination with the Sports Coordinator.
- Ensure safety by responding to emergencies, documenting incidents, and following emergency procedures.
- Coordinate weather and ground conditions with grounds maintenance to determine game safety.
- Assist with scheduling and rainout planning.
- Organize and distribute end-of-season awards.
- Assist with scheduling and supervision of the Softball City Tournament (Adult Leagues only).
- Maintain the WPRF Adult Softball website, including standings and weather updates, and update the information line as needed.
- Maintain records, reports, and correspondence per departmental policies.
- Complete end-of-season reports.
- Perform additional tasks as needed or requested.
Position Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Experience or knowledge in youth baseball, softball, T-ball, adult softball/kickball, and soccer programming.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Effective communication, courtesy, and cooperation with staff and the public.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency with computer software and office equipment.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR or willingness to obtain.
