We are working on a temp to perm marketing/ecommerce role with a top apparel/sports brand in NYC. Role is hybrid and is focused on marketing strategies and ecommerce (Amazon).

Overview

Role is hybrid and focused on marketing strategies and ecommerce (Amazon) within a top apparel/sports brand in NYC.

Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute annual marketing plans that drive brand awareness, traffic, and conversion across owned channels (website, email, social, Amazon).
  • Oversee content creation, brand storytelling, and campaigns that resonate with activewear and streetwear audiences.
  • Manage partnerships, influencers, and athletes to create authentic brand activations.
  • Lead brand positioning and go-to-market campaigns for seasonal product launches and collaborations.

E-Commerce & Amazon

  • Own the DTC and Amazon P&L, ensuring sales and margin goals are met.
  • Manage Amazon storefronts, product listings, and paid media campaigns, optimizing for traffic, rankings, and conversion.
  • Oversee site merchandising, product drops, and promotional calendars
  • Implement strategies to drive customer acquisition, retention, and loyalty through email, SMS, and digital advertising.

Analytics & Optimization

  • Monitor KPIs (traffic, conversion, ROAS, customer lifetime value) and use insights to optimize campaigns and website performance.
  • Lead regular reporting on e-commerce performance, marketing ROI, and growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with operations to manage inventory levels, demand planning, and fulfillment strategies.

Team & Collaboration

  • Partner with design and creative teams to develop compelling marketing assets and product content.
  • Work closely with sales teams to align retail and online strategies.
  • Manage agency relationships (digital media, creative, PR) to maximize ROI.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • 5 years of experience in marketing and e-commerce, preferably in fashion, activewear, or streetwear.
  • Proven track record of growing DTC e-commerce and Amazon marketplace businesses.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing tools (Google Ads, Meta Ads, Amazon Ads, Klaviyo/Shopify, etc.).
  • Excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Passion for sports culture, entertainment, and streetwear trends.
