As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for building the delivery capability to drive the delivery of enterprise scale technology projects in a fast-paced environment. You will manage projects of various scope, size and complexity, and adapt to technology, product, regulatory and operational changes while maintaining drive and delivery discipline. A key objective is to establish a delivery capability aligned with bet365’s project delivery methodologies and processes. You will quickly establish strong working relationships with key stakeholders, some based in the UK and Europe. This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy. Preferred skills and experience
- Demonstrated ability to build and mentor high-performing project teams.
- Proven ability to lead and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, with a deep understanding of risk mitigation strategies.
- Experience in line management of project managers.
- Extensive experience in software development methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall, and their application in large organizations.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills at all levels.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering business value.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly and concisely.
- Experience in driving continuous improvement initiatives within a PMO or project delivery function.
- Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and build strong working relationships.
- Experience in managing projects with regulatory or compliance requirements.
What you will do
- Providing leadership and direction to project teams, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Collaborating closely with product and service owners to review workload and pipelines.
- Maintaining assurance against the PDLC framework, ensuring an appropriate and efficient delivery approach is defined.
- Overseeing the full project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, for multiple high-profile projects.
- Providing executive level reporting, covering all aspects of the delivery lifecycle costs, such as financial and effort, during all stages of active projects.
- Identifying and mitigating project risks and issues proactively, while ensuring projects are delivered to the highest quality standards.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
- Driving continuous improvement in project management processes and methodologies.
- Mentoring and coaching project managers and team members.
- Contributing to the development of the project management strategy.
