Location (Tuesday & Thursday): 844 Kempsville Rd, Suite 104, Norfolk 23502
Responsibilities
The Medical Assistant performs patient care and administrative/clerical related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma (Required)
Certification/Licensure
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - Required or
- Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) - Required or
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) - Required or
- EMT Basic Certification (EMT) - Required
Experience
- Open to new grads.
- Prefer someone with experience in healthcare
