This position is with Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG), a physician-led, multispecialty group practice with over 600 providers, seeking a Fellowship-trained Sports Medicine physician for its new Caldwell Medical Office Building, opening in September 2025.
The physician will develop a comprehensive sports practice for all ages, including high school team coverage and potential club sport involvement. The role includes oversight of APPs and ATCs, working in the Orthopedic Urgent Care, and supporting athletic trainers connected to teams and clinics. The practice is co-located with the orthopedic clinic in Caldwell and part of an expanding Sports team. Experience with Epic EMR is highly advantageous.
Position Details
- Full-Time
- Traditional clinic schedule, M-F, with at least 34 hours of patient contact per week
- Shared call responsibilities
Support Services
24/7 CRNA anesthesia, Level II Trauma Center, ED, on-site specialty clinics, community primary and specialty care clinics.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Completion of an accredited Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine residency program, with a Sports Medicine fellowship or equivalent
- Board certification through ABFM, AOBFP, or equivalent (or within 3 years of employment)
- Ability to obtain Idaho and Oregon medical licenses, valid DEA registration
