Amazing Athletes, LLC is hiring: Children's Sports and Fitness Coach in Californ

Amazing Athletes is the country’s most popular educational sports program for children ages 2 to 12 and offers classes year-round. Classes are scheduled in blocks starting from 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM, M-F with Saturday options available. We have multiple positions available in most San Diego County locations. Apply today!

Salary:

Compensation starts at $21 per hour and goes up to $40 per hour depending on your experience and commitment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Show up on time to class and be physically and mentally prepared (including commuting time).
2. Interact with parents, teachers, directors, children, and management on a daily basis.
3. Teach and conduct classes in a fun and structured way while challenging each child to help them accomplish motor development goals.
4. Provide individual and group instruction to children 2-12 years of age.
5. Understand responsibilities while the children are under your supervision.
6. Maintain up-to-date class rosters.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel to local schools with your own reliable transportation.
2. Must be able to pass a background check.
3. Must be fun, energetic, patient, attentive, and reliable.
4. Passion for sports/fitness and working with children.
5. Prior experience working with children is a plus! (Preschool teachers, camp counselors, elementary education substitute teachers, coaches, etc.)
6. Background in fitness is a plus! (athletics, sports, dance, cheer, gymnastics, martial arts, exercise science, kinesiology, physical education, etc.)
7. Early Childhood Education Units are a plus!
