Student Assistant - Sports Medicine (FALL) -
Responsibilities
- Students working in the athletic training room: assist with practice and game coverage (including set-up, preventative taping and bracing, clean-up from practice), maintain cleanliness of the facilities, assist with the inventory of the facilities, and assist the certified athletic trainers with the rehabilitation programs of student-athletes (including aquatic therapy).
- Assist with basic first aid and use of rehabilitation equipment and gain CPR certification.
- Maintain confidentiality of facilities and services provided.
Qualifications
- Must be currently enrolled in the Fall 2025 term as a student at the University of Oklahoma. Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.
- Must attach Fall 2025 OU class schedule.
- Skills: The ideal applicant is a team player with the ability to work autonomously, professional in manner, and appearance.
- Certifications: Training will be provided by the hiring department.
- Advertised Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, moving, reaching, carrying and stooping.
