New Dental Practice coming to Columbia, SC - Spears Market Dental Care! We are looking for Dental Hygienists to build our new hygiene team. Construction to be completed in July 2025 but we are hiring now to train and work together at a nearby location. We will be located at: 171 Earth Road, Columbia, SC.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Current dental hygienist license in South Carolina and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (as required)
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation
  • CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

  • Any years of clinical experience
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
  • Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet patient needs
  • Clinical needs as required by the office

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/Doctor/Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds
  • Availability to attend virtual or in-person training sessions periodically
  • A tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions (not applicable in FL & TN)
