Join the Founding Team at Dental Care at Green Valley! Dental Hygienist – Dental Care at Green Valley (Groveland, FL). Opening December 17 – Hiring Now for November 3 Start Date. Be part of something special from the very beginning. This is a brand new, state-of-the-art dental office opening in Groveland, FL, and we’re looking for three full-time dental hygienists to join our founding team. Our hygienists will begin working and training in nearby offices starting November 3 so they’re fully prepared to welcome patients on opening day. You can begin training earlier by working in one of our sister practices nearby.

Minimum Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in Florida and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required).
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation.
- CPR Certification.
Preferred Experience
- New graduates and seasoned hygienists are both welcome.
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of dental health.
- Clinical needs as required by the office.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/Doctor/Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
- Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year.
- TB test is required for all new hires in dental office positions and must be completed prior to starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process. Not applicable in the state of FL & TN.
