CPa Medical Billing, a GeBBS Healthcare Company, is currently seeking an experienced Dental Billing Specialist to join our team. As a Dental Billing Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

1. Researching all information needed to complete billing processing.
2. Posting corrections to claims to ensure account information integrity.
3. Reviewing billing reports to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
4. Researching and resolving third-party collection activities, including managing accounts receivable to maximize reimbursement.
5. Acting as a liaison between patients and staff regarding claims, billing questions, or insurance issues.
6. Researching overpayments, recording adjustments, and handling unidentified funds.
7. Responding to inquiries from outside agencies and insurance companies to facilitate claim payments.
8. Processing patient and third-party correspondence, including claim copies, statements, and refunds.
9. Handling legal documentation related to dental patient accounts.
10. Serving as a resource for staff and patients on dental insurance policies and procedures.
11. Supporting management with research and analysis of dental billing issues.
12. Participating in various projects assigned by the Dental Billing Department.

Qualifications include:

• 1-3 years of dental billing experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience with ECW, EPIC, and Dentrix is a plus.
• Proficiency in dental billing software and insurance portals.
• Knowledge of dental codes (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS) is a plus.
• Understanding of dental insurance plans and reimbursement procedures.
