About the role

We are looking for 2 Dental Hygienists to join our team and provide quality dental care to our patients. This can be a full-time position, or a fill-in position for hygienists looking for some extra days to work. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine dental hygiene procedures such as teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing, as well as providing patient education on oral hygiene and preventive care. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a commitment to patient comfort, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques.
• Perform dental prophylaxis and other preventive procedures.
• Take and develop dental x-rays.
• Remove calculus, stains, and plaque from teeth.
• Document patient information accurately and thoroughly.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.

Qualifications

• Valid dental hygiene license
• Knowledge of dental terminology and medical records
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques
• Experience with dental software
• Strong communication skills for effective patient interaction
• Ability to perform patient assessments and document findings accurately
• Understanding of pediatric dentistry and vital signs monitoring

• Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
