What You’ll Do

  • Warmly welcome and seat patients, creating a positive and comfortable experience
  • Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all hygiene procedures run smoothly
  • Review and update patient health histories, chart progress, and reinforce home care routines
  • Perform cleanings, scaling, and root planing for patients with periodontal disease
  • Apply fluoride and other preventative agents to promote healthy smiles
  • Examine gums, identify signs of gum disease, and communicate findings clearly to patients and doctors
  • Educate and motivate patients on oral hygiene and preventative care
  • Assist with sterilization and support team efficiency
  • Schedule appropriate re-care appointments to encourage continuity of care
  • Contribute to a collaborative, patient-focused environment

What We’re Looking For

  • Associate’s Degree from an ADA-accredited Dental Hygiene program
  • Current State Licensure and CPR Certification
  • At least 1 year of dental experience preferred (but not required)
  • A caring personality and enthusiasm for patient education

Working Conditions

  • Balance of standing (60%) and sitting (40%)
  • Moderate background noise from dental/lab equipment
  • Frequent bending and movement in a clinical setting
