Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental team. The Dental Hygienist plays a vital role in helping patients develop and maintain good oral health through preventive care, education, and clinical treatment. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed Dental Hygienist who is passionate about patient-centered care and community health.

Key Responsibilities Of The Dental Hygienist

• Perform dental cleanings, scaling, root planing, and polishing to remove plaque, tartar, and stains
• Take and develop dental x-rays to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning
• Apply preventive agents such as sealants and fluoride treatments
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and long-term dental health
• Maintain accurate dental records in the EHR, including treatment plans and recall systems
  
  

As a Dental Hygienist at Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center, you will work closely with dentists, assistants, and other health professionals to provide comprehensive care. You’ll have the opportunity to build lasting patient relationships while helping improve the overall health of our community.

What We’re Looking For

• Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Current and active Missouri Dental Hygiene License required
• Local Anesthesia and Nitrous Oxide Monitoring certification preferred
• Previous experience in dental hygiene services, with knowledge of devices, equipment, and preventive care best practices
