Join Our Team as a Dental Hygienist!

Out of this World Dentistry and Orthodontics is seeking a skilled and passionate Dental Hygienist to join our team in our South Jordan and West Jordan Offices. As a Dental Hygienist at our practice, you will have the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility alongside a team of dedicated professionals who are committed to providing exceptional dental care to our patients.

Daily Responsibilities

• Perform dental prophylaxis and periodontal maintenance procedures
• Administer fluoride treatments and apply dental sealants
• Conduct oral hygiene instruction and educate patients on proper dental care
• Assist with chairside procedures and provide support to the dentist
  
  

Required Skills

• Registered Dental Hygienist with a valid license
• Experience in periodontics and preventive care
• Proficiency in digital x-rays and VELscope technology
• Ability to perform scaling & root planing procedures
• Certification in CPR/BLS and knowledge of anesthesia administration
  
  

Nice To Have Skills

• Experience in treatment planning and periodontal charting
• Familiarity with nitrous oxide and local anesthesia
• Knowledge of dental hygiene best practices and techniques
