Salary: $35 - $40 / per hour

Maxim Healthcare is hiring for a Registered Nurse in Flint, MI to work with pediatric and adult patients in their own homes.

Patient needs most often include gastronomy tube, tracheostomy, and/or ventilator care.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and/or services provided to clients receiving contracted services, as required.
• Initiate the plan of care when directed and request necessary revisions from the prescriber as patient needs change.
• Incorporate therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and goals.
• Intervene in response to changes in patient condition and report such changes to the physician or supervisor.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitor and document their effectiveness.
• Review care plans and protocols, identify areas for education, care coordination, goal setting, and discharge planning.

Requirements:

• Current RN license for the state of practice.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year of RN experience preferred.
