• End Date: April 28, 2026
• Contract Duration: 25 weeks
• Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts (07:00 – 19:30)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2200 - $2360

Cath Lab RN Qualifications

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Current American Heart Association BLS & ACLS certifications
• Minimum 5 years of recent experience as a Cath Lab RN or in Interventional Cardiology
• Proven experience with Structural Heart and TAVR procedures
• Recent travel nursing experience within the last 12 months
• COVID-19 vaccination and booster required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Ability to float to other UCSF healthcare facilities as needed
• Teaching hospital experience preferred

Cath Lab RN Responsibilities

• Deliver expert nursing care in a high-acuity Cardiac Cath Lab environment
• Assist with interventional cardiology procedures, including TAVR, structural heart interventions, and cardiac stent placements
• Circulate and monitor patients during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations
• Administer and monitor procedural sedation for cardiac procedures
• Manage emergency medications, antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, and IV vasopressors
• Perform sheath removal, vascular closure, and comprehensive post-procedure monitoring
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Float to other units or UCSF facilities as required
