Overview

We are currently looking for a skilled Welder to join our team in San Leandro, CA. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM (Night Shift). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with TIG and MIG welding, be able to read technical drawings, and follow safety standards in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG (GTAW) and MIG (GMAW) welding on various metal components
• Weld small inventory parts such as B-parts and expansion chambers
• Use overhead cranes to move and position materials safely
• Read and interpret traveler packets and technical drawings
• Perform grinding and sanding to smooth welds and remove imperfections

Qualifications

• Proven experience in TIG and MIG welding (GMAW-P pulse welding a plus)
• Ability to read blueprints and traveler documents accurately
• High attention to detail – clean welds, no pinholes, scratches, or heat tint
• Experience operating overhead cranes and handling materials safely
• Strong understanding of welding safety practices
• Must be able to pass a background check
