HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Tyler, Texas. Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care ~ Discipline: RN ~ Shift: 12 hours, nights ~ Employment Type: Travel Title: Registered Nurse – NICU Shift: Night Shift, 3x12-Hour (18:00 – 06:00)   Every other weekend required (6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule)   Care for neonatal patients across all gestational ages in a Level III NICU (9-bed unit, expandable to 16) Manage a patient ratio of 1:3 consistently across day, night, and weekend shifts Float to Well Baby unit as needed Administer feedings (breast, bottle, gavage), IV therapy, and manage central lines Perform neonatal assessments, support for respiratory distress/failure, sepsis, NAS, and other common NICU diagnoses Use EPIC charting system (required) Operate equipment such as ventilators (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP), HFOV, CPAP (Bubble), RAM Cannula, Vapotherm, and conventional NICU devices (Phillips monitors, Draeger/Baby Leo warmers, Medela pumps) Minimum 2 years of NICU RN experience Previous travel experience EPIC EMR experience Community hospital experience Ability to float to Well Baby unit Previous charge nurse experience Experience in a teaching hospital Skills in arterial line management, UAC/UVC, isolation precautions, IV vasopressors, and care for Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome Founded in 2015, HonorVet Technologies stands as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) , proudly certified by NaVOBA and the U.Department of Veterans Affairs .
