Lead Night Shift- STNA (Healthcare) at Niles Way Senior Living, a Certus Healthcare community, located in Niles, Ohio. We provide Assisted Living services including Dementia Care to the Niles community. Summary

As a Lead Caregiver, you will be a current and active State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) and play a vital role in delivering compassionate care to our residents. This position supports orientation, training, and ongoing needs on our Night Shift. It is an opportunity for an experienced STNA to step into a leadership role in an Assisted Living environment, requiring positive leadership, flexibility between assignments, overseeing and completing tasks, and training new employees when applicable. The team focuses on providing quality care for residents, assisting with activities of daily living including personal care, social interaction, and recreation.

Starting pay for this position is $17 an hour. The typical schedule is five 8-hour night shifts per week (11:00 PM to 7:30 AM) with an every-other-weekend rotation. Specific schedules will be discussed during interview. This position requires working every other weekend and every other holiday, but does not include an on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with daily living activities including personal hygiene, social and recreational pursuits, and mobility support.
  • Monitor and record vital signs to ensure the health and safety of residents.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a caring environment.
  • Help implement individualized care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
  • Engage residents in social activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within resident living areas.

Qualifications

  • Current and active State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA).
