Production/Laborer - Night Shift at Tufco, LP.

Overnight Shift: 2-2-3 schedule (work 2 days, off 2 days, work 3 days, off 2 days & off 3 days); one week is 36 hours and the other week is 48 hours.

Hours: 6:30pm – 6:30am. Night shift pay: $2.00 extra per hour if you work overnights.

Job summary and responsibilities support the production line and manufacturing team to meet production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Place products/packaging on/off of conveyor line
• Monitor quality of the products, notifying appropriate personnel of any defects
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement
• Count packaged products and place the correct quantity into boxes
• Prepare product for shipping as needed
• Maintain production standards
• Assist and follow directions from Line Leads with setup and cleanup of production processes
• Support machine operator with machine maintenance when requested/required
• Interact with and support other members of the manufacturing team

Minimum Qualifications

• Basic math, reading and comprehension skills
• Attention to detail
• Organizational skills
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED

• Work in a safe and ethical manner at all times
• Utilize time effectively during downtime
• Possess a positive attitude, willingness to learn and have good attendance
