Sentara Healthcare is currently hiring for a Polysomnography Technologist to work at Sentara Obici Sleep Center in Suffolk, Virginia.

Hours/Shift: Full-time (36 hours/week) night shift. Wednesday to Friday 7pm to 7am.

Department/Position Overview: We are a 4 bed AASM accredited facility located at Sentara Obici Hospital. Join us in providing excellent patient care and great outcomes!

Education/Certification:

  • Registered Polysomnography Technologist - Required
  • Licensure in Virginia
  • BLS certification - required

Job Summary: Works under the supervision of the Department Manager/Coordinator to perform and evaluate overnight polysomnogram testing procedures in accordance to laboratory standards.

Qualifications:

  • HS - High School Grad or Equivalent (Required)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI
  • Polysomnographic Technologist License - Virginia

Skills: Complex Problem Solving, Troubleshooting
